The tournament is an ATP Challenger Tour Event and is being organized for a second consecutive year. Held at the Singapore Island Country Club, the Singapore ATP Challenger is a professional tennis event featuring upcoming players on the ATP Tour. Played using a knockout format, these 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams compete for ATP ranking points and total prizemoney of US$50,000.



Over the last century since The Royal Singapore Golf Club and The Royal Island Club merged to become the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) in 1963, the Club has since achieved significant milestones and expanded its Membership from 60 to more than 7,800 Principal Members.
The SICC is the only club in Singapore with four beautiful and challenging 18- hole golf courses, an executive 9-hole course, and full country club facilities, such as a world-class swimming complex, covered tennis courts, jumbo-sized doubles squash courts, state-of-the-art gym equipment, 12- lane bowling alley, theatrette, billiards and pool rooms, and many other lifestyle facilities, spread over the sprawling Bukit and Island locations.
